Becoming a mother can change a woman in many different ways.

For Cougar Town star Busy Philipps, one of those ways had to do with her undercarriage and how her grooming preferences have evolved.

On a new episode of The Conversation, Philipps was asked by host Amanda de Cadenet if she waxes or shaves and excitedly replied:

“I love this question. I do get waxed, but after I had my daughter I had this real epiphany. I felt like it would be really fucking weird if I had no hair on my vagina, because I have a little girl and I want her to look at me and think that grown women have hair on their vaginas!”

Philipps, the mother of a four-year old girl, is expecting her second child with husband Marc Silverstein and also took issue in the Q&A with those who claim it’s a breeze to lose baby weight.

“I love that the whole weird misconception, ‘I just lost it all breastfeeding.’ It’s like, ‘No, you didn’t!'” she said.
