George Galloway is an English politician, broadcaster and writer. He currently features the Mother of All Cat Shows on Radio Sputnik and Sputnik on RT UK. From 1987 to 2015, except between 2010 and 2012, he was a member of four constituencies, first the Labor Party and then the Respect Party, the latter he founded in 2004 and led until its dissolution in 2016. He is currently the leader of the British Workers Party, which he formed in 2019 in response to Jeremy Corbyn's defeat in the 2019 general election and as the main spokesperson for All for Unity, a Scotland-based party that he trained to support British trade unionism in the face of growing support for Scottish independence and the Scottish National Party. Galloway was born in Dundee to a Scottish father and an Irish mother.
