A WOMAN has revealed that the new line of Marks and Spencer's laundry detergent smells exactly like Le Labo perfume.

Laura Capon, who has spent years working as a beauty editor certainly knows a thing or two about perfume.

So she was left stunned when she picked up the laundry detergent and fabric softener and realised it smelt exactly like the pricey Le Labo perfume.

Taking to TikTok, Laura, best know as LauCapon on the app, couldn't wait to share her discovery of the M&S laundry items in the scents Sandalwood and Bergamot and Sandalwood and Rose.

She said: "You can tell this is an urgent video because I've literally propped you up on my dish drainer.

"I was in M&S earlier and their new cleaning range is A) beautiful for a cleaning range."

She added if you like Le Labo perfumes or that warm, 'sandalwoody' scent then their new range is for you.

Not only does it smell warm - but the beauty editor revealed it also smelt super expensive.

Laura continued: "These laundry liquids and fabric conditioners are chef's kiss."

The beauty editor added: "You'll just smell rich. you and your clothes will smell warm and rich."

In particular, Laura revealed that the Sandalwood and Rose scent could be a dupe for a Le Labo perfume.

The laundry liquid cost £5.50 and the fabric conditioner cost £3.50 - much cheaper than an actual bottle of Le Labo perfume which costs £157 on average.

"My perfume? Oh, it’s my fabric conditioner," she captioned the post.

The video was a hit with shoppers who said they couldn't wait to get their hands on the new scents.

One person added: "They actually brought a perfumer in to make them, wee fact."

Another commented: "Oh no… I have been influenced. I’m going to have to go and get it tomorrow!."

"I’m sold!," penned a third.

Meanwhile, a fourth wrote: "You had me at you’ll smell rich, sold."
